The Energy That Makes People Follow or Hit Subscribe to Your Substack
When I refer to people, I’m talking about YOUR people, like-minded people.
The ideal client, the aligned one.
Not the general audience who just wants to be entertained, and definitely not the client who pays for a high-ticket package and leaves you drained with their lack of accountability, unclear goals, and endless resistance.
Beyond algorithms, engagement, and other obvious factors, there are deeper reasons your people notice you and click your profile without thinking twice.
Following you on Insta or subscribing to your Substack feels like the most natural next step.
Trusting you, or buying from you, should feel like a no-brainer, provided you nailed your content and offerings.
One of these reasons is your rising sign energy.
Your rising sign, or ascendant, shapes the first impression you make both online and offline. It’s the energy people pick up from your personal brand the instant they see your profile image or spend some time getting to know you through your content.
It’s part of why someone might think: This is the coach, consultant, creator, healer, teacher, expert, or person I’ve been looking for.
Here’s the irony: many spiritual people and solopreneurs don’t resonate with their rising sign energy.
They connect only with their sun sign, while their rising sign gets ignored or even hidden, when in fact, it’s often what draws others to them in the first place.
You may decide to show up as a grounded, cold, serious advisor while you’re actually a gentle, nurturing, or easy-going person.
This gentle persona doesn’t align with how your peers in the market present themselves, so you repress this side of you, edit your content, and end up boring both yourself and your audience to tears…
Draining, soul-sucking, and at some point? Unsustainable.
When you analyze your rising sign and the configurations around it, you discover what makes people naturally drawn to you. That’s the energy you should lean into and work with, not against.
So reflect on this:
What’s your rising sign?
What energies are supporting or hindering its natural expression?
How are you expressing it (on your Substack, bio, profile image, in your content, or in real life?).
And if you aren’t yet, how can you begin doing it with more confidence?
No clue what this means for your rising sign?
Drop your rising sign in the comments, and I’ll tell you what naturally draws people to you, in a nutshell ✨

This makes so much sense. I’ve definitely tried to show up as the ‘serious expert’ when my actual vibe is way softer. No wonder it felt exhausting
